La Double Vie de Véronique

As a 17 year old girl living in the suburbs of Clayton Park, this film enthralled me. The Blockbuster Video 'Foreign' section basically shaped my tastes and for that I'm eternally grateful. I defy anyone (who was once a budding young woman) not to swoon a little over this beautiful, melodramatic clip. Also, Irène Jacob is perfect in every way. Including her hair.
