La Fallaci

Interview with History (1976)
Written by Italian journalist and author Oriana Fallaci, this is a stellar collection of interviews with various political leaders, such as Henry Kissinger, Colonel Qaddafi, and Indira Ghandi.
Fallaci, who was famous for her direct and persuasive interviewing style, ultimately mired her own credibility after 9/11, when she came out of retirement to publicly denounce Islam through a series of articles and books.

Instead of attempting to eulogize, defend or take an oppositional stance, I'll share a link to an article about this mysterious lady. Written by Christopher Hitchens for Vanity Fair, it’s an insightful look at Fallaci the feminist, renegade, and activist - and the dangerous political turn she took in her later years: http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/features/2006/12/hitchens200612

PS - she was a stone fox
